Warranty & Policies
The American Tomahawk Co. warranty covers any defects that are found in the materials or craftsmanship. If you encounter any defects that involve these things, please contact us and we will repair or replace your tomahawk.
Please note that this warranty only covers your tomahawk if you own it. If you sell or transfer your tomahawk to someone else, or alter the originality of the tomahawk in any way, the warranty will no longer be in affect.
This warranty will not cover damages or breakages due to misuse of the tomahawk. We pride ourselves at American Tomahawk Co. for designing tomahawks that are made by working hands for working hands. Tomahawks as good as ours rarely fail due to defects and should last a very long time.
We do not cover any damages due to "tool abuse." Tool abuse is where our products might be used for things like, but not limited to, smashing through concrete, shooting at it, or throwing it into a volcano. Utilizing the product for anything other than it's intended use will automatically void this warranty. So, we ask that you please match each tomahawk with your best judgement of what it should be used for so your tomahawk can last as long as possible, and you can stay safe in the process.
Misuse of your tomahawk can cause serious injury or even death. It can also cause your tomahawk to break or fail and our limited lifetime warranty will not apply. Failure to properly use your tomahawk may also cause it's mechanisms to malfunction, which could then result in injury to you or damages to your tomahawk.
NOTEWORTHY: Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under warranty. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
You may return unused items within 30 days from the purchase date. All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (if you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
